High Energy ESWT ShockWave Therapie

Chronic pain and inflammation located in muscles, tendons and attachments can often be treated with this new form of treatment.

This successful method of treating this pain is called Extracorporeal ShockWave Therapy (High Energy ESWT). This method is similar to the operation of a kidney stone disintegrator.

By means of focused shock waves the painful area is treated. HIGH ENERGY ESWT SHOCKWAVE is considered one of the most innovative developments in the recent pain treatment of the musculoskeletal system of the last 10 years!

Indications for ShockWave:

  1. Calcifications in general (in muscles, tendons, joints, etc.)
  2. Shoulder complaints, including calcifications
  3. Bursitis (shoulder, hip)
  4. Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
  5. Golfer's elbow (medial epicondylitis)
  6. Hip complaints (Bursitis trochanterica)
  7. Groin injuries (groin adductor tendonitis)
  8. Knee injuries (jumper's knee or runner's knee)
  9. Shin splints;
  10. Achillespeesblessures (achillodynia)
  11. Foot Problems (Morton's Neuroma)
  12. Heel spur and plantar fasciitis
  13. Slow healing fractures
  14. Non-healing fractures (pseudarthroses)
  15. Dead Bone (Avascular Necrosis)
  16. Stress Fractures
  17. Pain point treatment (including Trigger Point Therapy)
  18. Fibromyalgia
  19. Connective tissue pain and degeneration
  20. Muscle pain and muscle injuries
  21. capsule problems

In contrast to conventional treatment methods, shockwave therapy treats the pain directly at its source without medication or surgery. Many people suffer from tennis elbow, heel spurs, Achilles tendons or shoulder calcification. Many of them have already tried various treatment methods but continue to have complaints. In many cases, surgery can be prevented by ESWT.

NOTE: There is also a LOW ENERGY method that is called ShockWave, but that is RSWT: RADIAL Shockwave. NOT focused, and lower energy! NOT comparable! [A well-known saying is: "It costs nothing, but it is also nothing..."] The results in the literature about ShockWave are all in favor of the High Energy ESWT method.
