Heel spur complaints

What is heel spur?

A heel spur is a complaint that occurs more and more often among the Dutch population. There are 2 types of conditions that both fall under the term "HEEL SPUR".
Hielspoor

On the one hand, the bone point under the foot, formed by the pull on the bone by a sagging arch of the foot. On the other hand, the inflamed tendon plate under the foot. (Plantar Fasciitis). The latter is partly due to the fact that the "fat chambers" under the soles of our feet are disappearing. We still see them in African tribes! These "fat chambers" provide good cushioning of the load on the foot. Think of bubble wrap. Many people also have a tendency towards a flat foot due to so-called "posture decline". This means an increased load on the tendon plate under the foot, which is stretched out under the foot like the string of a bow and arrow. Like a kind of leaf spring. Due to the incorrect / increased load, this tendon plate can become inflamed.
